A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 dystopian crime film written, directed, and produced by Stanley Kubrick, based on Anthony Burgess's 1962 novel of the same name. The film follows Alex (Malcolm McDowell) and his gang of "droogs" who commit various acts of violent crime. After Alex is caught and sentenced to prison, he is chosen to undergo an experimental psychological conditioning treatment known as the Ludovico Technique, which is meant to eliminate his criminal urges. Throughout the movie, McClane displays his wit and courage as he fights against the odds to save the day. In the end, McClane is triumphant, but not without sustaining heavy losses.

The film follows the story of the boys as they learn to live life to the fullest, standing up for what they believe in, and rebelling against the status quo. The movie is ultimately about individual freedom, and the courage to think for oneself.
