The other regulars at the bar are Norm Peterson (Wendt), Cliff Clavin (Ratzenberger), Carla Tortelli (Georgia Engel), and Woody Boyd (Woody Harrelson). As the film progresses, the regulars of Cheers get to know each other and Diane and Sam eventually become romantically involved. This film follows the ups and downs of their relationships and the relationships between the regulars of the bar. In the end, the people of Cheers come to terms with the problems of their lives and find ways to resolve them.
