"Aliens" is a science fiction action horror film directed by James Cameron. It is the sequel to Ridley Scott's 1979 film Alien. The film follows Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) as she returns to the planet where her crew encountered the hostile Alien creature, this time accompanied by a unit of space marines. After the marines are nearly wiped out by the Aliens and their mysterious queen, Ripley is the only survivor. With the help of the android Bishop (Lance Henriksen), she must confront the queen in a desperate attempt to prevent the Aliens from reaching Earth. As the battle between human and alien rages, Ripley discovers that the Aliens are driven by maternal instinct to protect their young at all costs. In the end, Ripley is able to successfully detonate the colony's nuclear reactor, destroying the Aliens and saving the human race from extinction.

The Exorcist is a horror film directed by William Friedkin, released in 1973. It tells the story of a young girl named Regan MacNeil who becomes possessed by a demonic entity. As her physical and psychological condition deteriorates, her concerned mother, Chris, turns to a pair of priests for help—Father Damien Karras and Father Lankester Merrin. Together, they attempt to perform an exorcism to save Regan from the demonic presence. The film is known for its intense and horrifying scenes depicting the demonic possession, as well as its Academy Award-winning soundtrack. At the time of its release, The Exorcist was highly controversial, and remains one of the most iconic horror films ever made.

Jane, who is mentally unstable and resents her sister's success, begins to psychologically and physically torment Blanche while Blanche is unable to defend herself. As Jane's behavior further spirals out of control and her secrets begin to unravel, the film builds to a shocking climax.

As he slowly recovers from his injuries, Wilkes forces him to write a novel featuring his popular character, Misery Chastain, whom Wilkes is obsessed with. Wilkes' behavior becomes increasingly erratic, and Sheldon soon realizes that he must escape her clutches if he is to survive. This gripping psychological thriller is filled with suspense and tension as Sheldon struggles to survive the increasingly dangerous situation.
